Mountain bike Trails in Ohio:
Caesar Creek State Park

- 6.5 miles of rugged trail for intermediate to advanced riders. 1.5 miles of gentle trail for beginning riders. Steep climbs and drops challenge advanced cyclists.
East Fork Lake State Park

- Two trail loops for a total of more than four miles. The first loop mixes smooth stretches and twisting turns through wooded areas. The second loop is tailored to more advanced cyclists and contains steep hills and switchbacks.

- Three miles of singletrack through wooded areas. Loop trail suited to intermediate to advanced riders.
Hueston Woods State Park

- Seven miles of both easy and challenging runs through some steep hills. The trail contains easy, moderate, and advanced sections to accommodate most riders. Mountain bike rental is available near the trailhead.
Alum Creek State Park

- Variety of trails for beginning to advanced cyclists. The north trail has nearly six miles of single track loop trails. The south trail is suited to beginner cyclists and features a two-mile loop of open areas and low hills.
Deer Creek State Park

- Offers a 1.2-mile loop trail on the southeast side of the park suitable for beginner to intermediate cyclists. The first part of the trail winds along the banks of Deer Creek Lake and the remainder travels through more open areas.
Paint Creek State Park

- The north trail offers both a three and five mile loop with challenging terrain and optional single track. The south loop is a more relaxed wind through meadows and wooded areas with views of Paint Creek.
Landen-Deerfield Park

-Four miles of trail with three loops. Grassy singletrack, stream beds, roots, and tree stumps. Fairly technical with several short, steep hills.
Mountain bike Trails in Kentucky:
Tower Park, South Fort Thomas Ave., Fort Thomas, Kentucky (606) 441-4226
- Trails of varied difficulties accommodate all levels of experience. Creek crossings, some hazardous areas, and more moderate terrain.
Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area (615) 879-3625
- Located in Oneida, Tennessee just south of Somerset, Kentucky. Extensive trail network and excellent camping facilities.
Cave Run Lake, Morehead, Kentucky (606) 784-5624
- Great scenic trails. Technical and undeveloped lake area. Excellent campgrounds with rental boats.

- Short trails, 15 miles total shared with hikers and horses. 150 miles south of Louisville.
Kleber Wildlife Area, Owen County
- 15 miles of trails and service roads. North of Stamping Grounds.
Daniel Boone National Forest, London, Kentucky (606) 864-4163
- 94 miles of trails originally for hiking. Moderate to difficult terrain. Primitive and full service camping.
Land Between The Lakes, Golden Pond, Kentucky (502) 924-5602
- More than 60 miles of trails. Moderate to easy terrain. Good camping facilities.

- South of Louisville. Nearly 20 miles of well-marked trails. Area has hotel, heated dorms, restaurant, and camping.

- Near Manchester for 56 miles of open trails. Some extremely difficult terrain. Primitive camping only.
